Jupiter Energy Limited is an oil exploration and production company listed on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) under the ticker "JPR." The company owns 100% of Block 31, a 123km² exploration permit in the Mangistau Basin, West Kazakhstan. This permit covers an area of proven oil production, including three discovered oilfields: West Zhetybai, Akkar East, and Akkar North (East Block). Jupiter Energy operates all three oilfields under a 25-year Commercial Production Licence. The company's operations are based in the port city of Aktau, approximately 80km from Block 31. Recently, Jupiter Energy completed the installation of the necessary infrastructure to achieve 100% gas utilization, allowing the three oilfields to return to optimal production levels. Currently, cumulative production is approximately 90 tonnes (675 barrels) per day. The company has also received approval to sell its oil on the export market, with the first export sales recorded in April 2023.
