Exore Resources Limited is a resource company that has recently acquired some of the most compelling gold exploration ground in northern Cote d’Ivoire, covering 1,948km2, located along strike from Randgold’s 4.2Moz Tongon Gold Mine and Perseus’s Sissingue Gold Mine.

Côte d’Ivoire is an established and proven jurisdiction for exploration, permitting and mine development, with an attractive fiscal regime and mining code. The country has seen five gold mines developed over the past 10 years with several recent additional +1Moz gold discoveries at resource definition/feasibility stage.

Recent results at Antoinette include 17m at 22.52g/t gold from 8m, 14m at 11.24g/t gold from 12m and 13m at 8.30g/t gold from 0m.

Aggressive exploration is supported by ~$16m in cash on hand after raising $10m from institutional investors.

Targets

There are multiple drill targets that could significantly expand the potential size of the gold deposit following the 75,000m of drilling already completed.

A large land holding

Exore Resources have an 80% interest in a strategic ~1,948km2 land position surrounded by existing gold producers including Barrick, Resolute and Perseus. The focus of exploration activities at present are within the Bagoe Project which include the Antionette and Veronique gold discoveries.

A promising discovery…

There have been multiple shallow RC and AC oxide intersections at Antoinette Central which is over 1,500m in length and remains open along strike and at depth. Significantly, not only have these intercepts shown lucrative grade x thickness levels of ~50gm, they are also at surface (0 to ~80m) within deeply weathered zones down to ~50-60m.

...that could expand significantly with further drilling.

Significantly, Antionette Central is surrounded by other gold discoveries at Antionette South and Antionette South West. Targets along strike remain untested and will be drilled as part of the company’s 35,000m drill program that will continue through to March 2020.

A new frontier

Cote D’ivoire has become an attractive destination for gold exploration in West Africa. Recent activity includes the acquisition of the Seguela Gold Project by Roxgold which paid ~A$100/oz for an inferred resource of 5.8Mt at 2.3g/t for 430koz Au. 5 new gold mines have been established in Cote D’ivoire over the last 10 years.
